FINALLY, I came to realise this last year. What’s the best thing you can do when you’re feeling down and almost certainly, out?
Help others in need!
Mind you, just because I post a lot of different things, it doesn’t mean I’m not hurting myself, because I do. But, that doesn’t stop me from providing the best help and support as possible to people who deserve it more than me. Take it from me, if one day you wake up and you’re feeling miserable/depressed/upset, keep your chin up and help others in need. This doesn’t have to be over the internet, you can do so in person, too! How about you help out your husband/wife with the gardening/doing the dishes? Your brother/sister than needs help with their homework? Your next door neighbour who needs help bringing in the grocery? The little things means the most.
Personally, I love giving out tips to others. And what’s better is that knowing that those specific tips has helped that person out, it’s the best feeling in the world, knowing that it’s made his/hers life much better and easier to live in. That’s what my main goal and aim is, to make that person’s life better and for them to feel better within themselves.
I love what I do. From being on Reddit 20hrs a day, to the creation of the website, to the twitter and podcast episode, I do them all in my free-time, to show others that they have the ability to grow and change, but not just them, but I prove to myself that I can do so, too. If it helps others out, it helps me out. I am not proud of my past, in fact, it’s the reason why I do this. I have been given an opportunity to turn things around and I couldn’t think of a better way to do it, to ensure people don’t go down the same road as I did before.
Stay safe, keep smiling, bring out that positive side of you and if you can, help others!
Thanks for reading. 🙂
